May 2013...The ups and downs

Well this has been an interesting month so far. The first week we had baby home mom, Zach, Brian and I all got the stomach bug. Man we were sick so the first week baby was home he had a sleep over with grandma on our couch! Fun! Well that just led to the scariest week of my family's lives. I woke up Tuesday morning the 7th with the shakes, chills, dizzy, ran into the wall going to the bathroom, and vomiting yellow bile stuff. Lets just say I was sicker then a dog. Well I couldn't make myself get up off the bathroom floor so Brian and mom decided he better take me to the er, being I just had a baby the week before and then that stomach virus and now I'm sick again. Worse. I do not remember much that day or that week to follow. I was transferred to Tulsa hospital and admitted into icu. They found out I had viral meningitis. Wednesday I went into seizures, four to be exact, in the elevator and in the room for the MRI. Misty was with me and by Gods divine intervention a nuerologist was in the room with another patient so he took the lead on the rapid response team that worked on me. Thank God! And this amazing dr was a preacher! Oh how good our God is. Anyways I went into seizures caused by the meningitis and they had to put a breathing and feeding tube in. Well next thing I knew it was Friday and I was waking up. All I can remember is the feeling of them pulling that tube out was like opening a fruit roll up, pulling the paper off. Then I began to get better. Just weak, tired and Headaches from the lumbar puncture. Brian said I scared everyone too death. He never left my side. Oh how I love that man. Except of course for Zachs kindergarten graduation Friday night! I had to miss it but so glad Brian and his family got to go! I can't believe my baby is a 1st grader now! Time flies! Well I was finally released from the hospital on Monday evening after 7 days in the hospital, 4 of which was in icu. I'm so thankful for all the prayers and support my family has seen through this. I never imagined how much! Our God is so good and I never wanna forget to live life to the fullest cause u never know when it's ur turn to go.
Tball and soccer also ended this month. Boys loved it! I'm so glad I put Logan I. Tball! He's more outgoing and loves playing with the other kids! I think it's helped prepare him for prek in the fall! I still can't believe he's old enough for school! He's coming more out of his shell and its so fun to watch his personality come out! He had so much fun with Zach playing tball. Summer time now, I'm gonna have to try to keep them busy! Downside to bein sick is that I have restrictions now. Can't be alone at al with the baby for six months, can't drive either so we will be staying back and forth between our parents since Brian leaves for work everyday at 5. I also have to take meds and pray it never happens again. They're 90% sure it was just cause I had meningitis I had the seizures but to make sure and better be safe then sorry. So that has been our month of may. Very scary and long so far but I hope to feel better everyday and get back to normal soon! Thank u all again for the prayers and support. It means so much to me to know that God has put so many wonderful supportive people on our lives. Thank u! God bless!

Clayton Christopher Hatton

Hello guys! Can't believe it's been so long since I wrote last! I just can't seem to remember to! Anywho, baby boy number three came this last week! April 25.2013 we welcomed Clayton Christopher Hatton into our family! I had a 2nd repeat csection and everything went ok. Harder then expected, being we decided this would be our last baby, and I had my tubes tied. We since have been home almost a week and man, it's only been 4 years since Logan was a newborn but I think I've forgot everything! He was only 6 lbs 5 ounces when he was born and 20 in long! He was our littles bundle of joy and had a head full of light blonde hair! He's long and lanky like grandpa Dan with long skinny everything! Lol he's already made such a big impact on my heart. I feel more appreciative of my kids, wanting to treasure each moment cause they won't be little for long. Zach turned 6 and Logan 4 the beginning of this year so I can't believe how fast time flies! Logan's playing his first year of tball with Zach and Brian assistant coaching. He'd rather play in the dirt then actually play but hey it's a learning experience. He's getting more outgoing and I hope it helps get him ready for preschool in the fall! I can't believe his old enough! Zach will be graduating from kindergarten this next week! Crazy! He loves school! Math is his favorite and his doin great learning to read! Amazes me how fast they learn! He's still in soccer and loves it! They both adore their new baby brother! They wanna hold him and kiss him all the time! Of course it last like two minutes before they are done. It's only been a week but I think they're doing just fine. Brian's off work with us another week so hopefully momma can rest and recover a little more before he goes back to work. Getting Logan and baby and I together to walk to grandmas this morning was hard enough, had to let baby Whine at me a bit while I got his stuff ready and our jackets on. Gotta get use to that! I forgot how much time newborns take! Becky's having Jackson on the 25 of may if she makes it that long! Her and her boys just love on baby Clay too. Josh comes in saying baby baby and hurries to kiss him! Too cute! They share a birthday! Clay was born on Joshua's 2nd bday! How neat! All the cousins are close and I'm glad! Now if they just get along all the time it would be great! Love it! Well I can't think of anything else so ill share some pics of this year so far!

Goodbye 2012...

Dang another year gone already!! I feel very blessed what God has done in our family and will do next year! This year Brian and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary! Wow six years already. I have been blessed to have such a wonderful godly husband and father leading our family. Praying God gives us many more! Zach turned 5 last January, 6 in just a couple weeks! Wow has time flown with him. He's such a blessing and my biggest challenge. Lol he's hard headed, stubborn, independent and loving all in one! So much like his daddy. I pray daily I would have the patience with him and be calm an collected when he drives me crazy. He's got such a big heart and I'm so proud of who is he. He played tball in the spring, and soccer in the fall. He loved both of course so naturally this next spring we will be doing both tball and soccer again, and Logan will be playing tball too! Pray I don't fall over from exhaustion before this baby comes in April! Lol Zach also started kindergarten this year! He loves it! He's improving so much on his speech and loves learning new words but his favorite is math! Another trait from his daddy! Me, I like math till after algebra. Lol he loves making new friends, doesn't know a stranger/ talks to everyone, which Is not like me at all, and loves to shine when he is playing a game he loves. Soccer I believe he enjoyed more, more action and he was so fast he outrun everyone! He can't wait to start back in both sports.
Logan turned 3 last February and so will be 4 this year. He is so completely different from Zach. It's amazing how two children can be so different. Logan is more timid and soft like me. He's not as bold and outgoing as Zach but once he is comfortable in his surroundings he likes to make friends too. He loves blocks, reading books, cars and balls. August 2013 he will start prek! Omg I don't think I'm ready for that! He's my baby in all sense of the word. Zachs first day of school he just waved to me bye and was fine. I'm a little worried Logan won't be as easy to depart from. He's getting better but sometimes he cries when left in nursery still so we will pray he's ready when its time for him to go. He will start his first year of tball this spring and I'm so excited to see him and Zach play together! He's not as tough and not as coordinated as Zach so we shall see! But he loves ball so it should be exciting! He wants to do everything big brother does so I'm sure he will love it. I just pray they have such a strong bond and it continues to grow and stays strong as they get older and they also have it with new baby brother! My boys are such a joy on a regular basis and I'm so thankful God allowed me to be their momma!
Baby... Welp I'm 22 weeks this week going into the new year! I'm so excited now about this new little boy! Yes, I was hoping girl but once it sunk in I'm excited! Three boys! Yes I'll be very out numbered, and our house will be rowdy but I'm ready! May God let us train them up to be godly young men!
This year we also got our new house, paid off my car, land, and I finished my associates degree in school, all by Gods grace! I'm proud of what we are, and pray God works in each of our hearts this following year, that we may grow closer to him and closer to each other!

Baby #3- BOY

Baby number three is officially a boy! At first I was disappointed and cried because I was hoping girl, but now I'm excited! I love my boys, they keep me on my toes and lets just say our house is always rowdy! All my friends have been such a blessing saying sweet things like God knows u and Brian raise boys good and this world needs more good godly men. I appreciate all the wonderful comments. Brian and I had no clue what to name him but we've come down to a couple we like. Thinking we will go with either Clay or Clayton Christopher. I also liked Corbin, Jacob, and Stephen. But whatever we decide we are so thankful Gods blessing us with another little boy to love and cherish and raise in a godly home with Zach and Logan. As Christmas is getting closer I'm so thankful for family and friends and hope we all remember the reason for the season!

October....

Wow how october flew by! It seems like we just started and it's already past! Well not much going on around here. Fall break tested my patience. Oh how I was ready for school to start back! I love Zach but he's such a busy body and I could not keep him entertained enough! Lol Logan's pretty content with cartoons or color books. Halloween came up so fast I was not prepared! The boys love dressing up and this year Zach was a jail bird and Logan a pirate! Of course we planned the whole trick or treat thing around town and then church, but before that could happen this momma got that awful stomach bug. So needless to say, this pregnant woman was like a zombie from Tuesday before halloween till the following monday. It was the worse stomach bug I have had! Stomach cramps as bad as contractions, if I weren't sick I would have been concerned. Then the other back door symptom came and it was rough! Still fighting it off guess cause i have no immune system. But daddy stepped in and took the boys trick or treating so they had a blast! Not so fun for me but hey it's for the kids right! So then came November. Yay! I love this time of year. Glad the elections over, now everyone can stop talking about it and pray about it! Gods still in control no matter who is president. I love holiday meals! I know thanksgiving is next but come on! I love love love all things Christmas! Music, deco, hallmark movies!!! That started on weekends already so I'm in heaven! So I'm so excited to see what happens this holiday season! Thanksgiving always makes me feel warm and snuggly. Time for hot cocoa, fall leaves, hoodies and blankets. Families feel closer and everyone remember it's the time To remember what God has given us!
On the pregnancy side of things. I'm 15 weeks and so ready To feel good an get over this sick feeling! I was feeling better Till this bug came to visit so hopefully I will come back to life a little just in time for the holidays! I love food too did I mention that!? Love love love turkey dressing and the works! Man Oh man I can see the calories and my belly growing already! Lol love u all
And may God bless u this upcoming holiday season!

My chicken pot pie!!

Ok guys seriously this is my favorite recipe! I love chicken. I could eat chicken every meal! I love it! So I'm gonna share my chicken pot pie recipe. Of course I'm not a big veggie person, I know bad bad, but come on! At least I put one in it and you can add as many as you like! I made it today and my sister says where's the peas! Lol I was like u make it and add the peas! Lol so here ya go! Enjoy!

Cream of chicken soup- small can what is it 14oz or something. Lol
Carrots
Potatoes
2 cans 8oz crescent rolls( or one can buscuits) personally I love crescent rolls so that's what I use!
Chicken! (I use canned cause I think it tastes just as good and I'm lazy but real works too of course! Lol)

Roll out one can crescent rolls on bottom of casserole dish. Mix soup and veggies and potatoes with the chicken and pour over crescent bottom. Salt pepper to taste. Cover mix with can of crescent rolls flat and bake at 350 about 25-30 or till dough is done!

Super easy and I love it! Kids even eat it, sometimes! Lol I know I should add veggies but carrots is plenty for me! Lol I hope u enjoy! We do!

Bean casserole- yummy!

Soo thought Id share tonight's dinner with y'all! I got it from m fantastic inlaws so I don't take credit! Lol

Bean Casserole

1 lb hamburger meat or ground sausage ( could probably do ground turkey too but never tried it)
1 can pork and beans
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can rotel- I'm a big baby and can't stand things too hot so I only do half but if u like spicy then u will like the whole can!
And some tortilla chips!

Put tortilla chips in bottom of casserole dish. Not too thick but enough to cover, I usually smash them.( hubby likes them thick so up to ur preference.) Cook meat then mix all together and pour on top of chips in dish and cover with shredded cheese and you have dinner! My hubby loves it!

Yummy yummy. I love simple quick casseroles! I make several and would love to share as I remember! And you Guys can share some too!
